This has never happened to me either.I have been taking Phentermine for about 6 weeks and I have had none of the ill side effects I read about. But of course, every person is different.
This may be nasty but...
how about crushing the pill and putting it in your drink?

Hey SouthernJewel. This is from drugs.com:
"Do not crush, chew, break, or open an extended-release capsule. Swallow the pill whole. It is specially made to release medicine slowly in the body. Breaking or opening the pill would cause too much of the drug to be released at one time."

I stopped having the pill-in-throat feeling- I just started taking the pill inside of the gulp of water instead of putting it on my tongue and swallowing with a chase of water- did I explain that right? Anyway, it works, so now I'm okay with it.

I'm down 19 lbs since 5/7/08! I've been keeping up on my weight loss in the ticker in my siggy (it's still on 18 lbs)- I've been updating it every few pounds, I'll be updating it soon.:yep:

Okay, I'm taking my phentermine again. But, they make me EXTREMELY tired. I took one at about 8 this morning, and right now, I am really sleepy. Any ideas on what this could be?? Or how I could fix it??
I've tried taking the pill before my breakfast, and after my breakfast, and I get the same results.

Wow, I had the opposite, I was an insomniac while taking it. Count your lucky stars that it has not kept you up....drink cooler water, that may help and try to stay away from turkey.....hTH

You need to eat more protein- lean protein meat with breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Doing that will give you energy. Also, you may want to take some vitamins.

I just started it again almost 2 weeks ago. The last time I was on them (when I started this thread) the issue was so annoying that I stopped taking them. This time, I'm not having that issue. :)
