I want to give this a try but am deterred by the price lol. Anybody want to sell or burn copies? I'll pay. I don't want to just download it and have it on my laptop.

Also, anybody that uses/has used it, did you like it? Was it interesting enough to keep going?

I went to a store the other day (As seen on TV) and they were selling it for 140.

I can do better than that...
So who wants to pony up?

Yes. It is still at least $100. I always check ebay first.

P90 is different from P90X. I have the P90X program and when used as directed it definitely works. The upper body strength training and yoga workouts are particularly good. The lower body routine won't do much for the advanced exerciser.

Because the program comes with 12 DVDs, a workout log, nutrition guide, and calendar it's gonna cost quite a bit. I would say it's definitely worth it. However, the key is sticking to not only the workouts, but the nutrition plan as well for the full rotation. Getting through Phase I and II isn't that bad, but boredom does begin to kick in during Phase III. There isn't a lot of variety in terms of cardio workouts so doing Plyo X and Kenpo over and over again does get tedious. Not to mention there's never a break from Yoga X.

Also remember that P90X isn't designed for weight loss. Most people do lose weight with it, but the program is designed for gaining strength and muscle. That's why the meal plan contains so much food. Hope this information helps anyone looking to purchase the program.

Thanks! I meant p90x. I may break down and just buy it from beach body on the payment plan. :lachen: But I will keep going to the gym to do cardio too.

Anybody interested in a challenge?

I could be persuaded. I haven't been doing P90X lately because it does tend to bore me. But summer is fast approaching, so maybe....what did you have in mind?

Well my intial thought is we just pick a start date and go thru the program together, sharing stories, changes and tips. What do you think?

I honestly don't know if I can stick to going through the entire program. All those pushups bore me to tears after a couple of workouts. I could probably do the weight workouts at the gym so I don't have to deal with Tony. Man, maybe I should just sell my DVDs. But I worry that the second I get rid of them, I'm going to want them back.

Booooo Cheetarah you're taking the P90X excitement away from me!
I've been contemplating buying this for 3 months now...(it's so much though)
and I thought this would snap me out of my gym boredom....

But now you're bored of P90x? You're the P90x Guru...:nono:

I'm sorry! It really is a great program, but I have AD/HD when it comes to my workouts. I'll put P90X back into the rotation one of these days. And if it makes you feel better, it took me a while to get bored with P90X.

I think i'm hyping up P90X for the same fall....
