I've always had a fat stomache or pop belly as my grandma calls it. It just occured to me that maybe I don't have to have a pop belly and I can choose not to have one by exercising.:yep:

Anybody always had a pop belly? Did you work on gettin rid of it or just said forget it?:look:

I've always had one. Everyone said I'd outgrow it. I never did. Even at my lightest weight I had it. I started to work on it again recently - cardio and core weight training but I got sick and as part of my recovery I can't work out.:ohwell:

I've always had one, too. I was a size 3 and still had one. When I keep the carbs low consistently is the only time it makes a difference.

My cousin had great results with mesotherapy. Even at a size 7, she had a stomach and she has no kids. She works out and lift weights and still had it.

Me too. I had one even before I had 2 kids (via 2 C-sections). I'm not so sure I'll ever get rid of mines. Even at a size 6 I still have it. The only way for me to get rid of mine is to suck it in!

I found this on the net. It seems that it is used for an array of problems. I know she had 4 visits that included lymphatic drainage and vacuum therapy.

Even when I was a rail, I had a potbelly. If I'm really diligent about what I eat, it'll go down somewhat, but it's never totally went away. I'm still going back and forth about whether to just accept it or keep trying to get my tummy 100% flat.

I have a pot belly too and I've had it since forever. I think it's hereditary, I really do. My Mother was thin and used to joke that from the side she looked like an "S" big belly and stick out butt.

I have that and thighs that are as big as some people's waist . Most of the people in my family have that . Both my Mother and Father have/had big thighs and potbelly. I try to avoid wearing pants or jeans.

I'm overweight now but I asked my DH if I could have a tummy tuck when I lose all my weight. I think that's the only way I'll ever have a flat tummy.
