Any ladies had trouble getting pregnant after being on birth controls for a long time

If you had a hard time getting pregnant what did you do or take to aid in conception?

Yes. I know plenty of people that have had the same problem after getting off of the bc. None of them has gotten pregnant to this day and neither have I. I don't know what it does to your system but I know enough not to want my daughter to take them when she is of age.

I wish I would have never gotten on them also. I am still praying and trying so hopefully one day. I just wished there was something that I can do or take to speed up the progress. How long have you been off of the pill. It is funny for the ones that want to get pregnant can not, but the ones that do not want kids get pregnant fast.

I haven't heard too many stories about having trouble. Most stories I've heard are of people who were shocked how fast they conceived, or people who ended up with multiple gestations - twins etc.

I didn't say the above to make you feel bad OP, but just to say I don't think it is a common side effect of BC.

Have you seen a doc? It is is possible that it is a pre-existing condition or some other problem that may be helped.

I'm never on them for long, just a few months so I can get pregnant easier. I've had 3 kids this way.

I was on the pill for years and had no problem conceiving at all. My son was actually conceived in between me switching up the brand since it was giving me bad headaches. I was waiting for my cycle to start over to start the new pills and well lets just say it never started.

yep.. i was on them during med school. I grew fibroid tumors because of them and it took me 8 years to conceive. I did acupuncture for 3 months and finally got pregnant.
