I've already done a search for this but I haven't seen this thread yet. Has anyone ever tried both and which worked better for you. I'm completely new to foundation. I've heard that mineral powder foundation makes you look ashy, so should I opt for the liquid? I bought the powder but im really not sure if i look ashy and i think the bathroom mirror isn't the best place to try to determine if i do.

I liked the liquid better but wasn't overly impressed with either. The mineral powder foundation left me itchy feeling. It didn't blend well either. The color is also hard to match.

I'm wearing the Mineral Power Powder right now and it's okay. I think it provides light airy coverage. The color matched perfectly for me. In terms of wearability, it doesn't last long. I have only been wearing it 2 hours and I'm already blotting. (I have oily skin). I bought it because it was BOGO, but I think you should save your money. HTH.

Heat Seeker- Thank you:grin:

Thanks for your responses ladies. I'll try to do a search and see if something else catches my interest. Are there any drugstore foundations that you can recommend for normal to dry skin? I'm looking for light to medium coverage.

I purchased both and I mainly use the liquid but I apply the powder on my forehead, chin and bridge of my nose only. I put it on my cheeks and it just didn't look right.

I've used the liquid before and although it matched perfectly and didn't feel heavy or crease. I've never been a fan of liquid foundation.

I recently bought the loose powder and I love it. I went back and bought 2 blushes. I can wear it all day w/ no problem. I love how light and airy it feels. The key may be to apply the finishing veil.

Revlon colorstay liquid for medium coverage, Maybelline Pure Makeup for light coverage. Queen by covergirl is popular although I've never tried it.

Let me know your color on the Mineral Powder. If what I have will work, it's yours! :yep:
