Work out and wash your hair per week. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif I am starting to exercise again, now that I am no longer dependant on my stylist. I hate that salt build up on my hair though, but I wonder if washing so much will dry my hair. If you exercise daily, do you wash your hair daily? Or basically, what is your exercise/hair washing schedule weekly?? Thank you kindly to anyone who responds.

I shampoo about 2x a week, but rinse out the sweat w/a conditioner wash on the other days. If not my head would be itching something terrible!!! I wet my hair (either washing or conditioner washing) almost everyday, I'd say 5 days out of 7. It hasn't dried my hair out in the least! /forums/images/graemlins/drunk.gif

Thanks Carmela.

So I am assuming that you don't wear a dry style during the week? And what specifically is a conditoner wash?? ANd when you wet your hair everyday (on days you don't wash), what do you do...just add some oil to it and go?? Sounds like you have a different type of hair than I do. I am a relaxed 4. Hum...I don't think that my hair would like very nice if I just wet it and not set it with rollers. /forums/images/graemlins/ohwell.gif

My hair type is 4a and it is relaxed. I style my hair in one of a few ways...I either, add some oil and scrunch it so it waves and curls up, put it in a ponytail so the ponytail curls up or do a wet bun. All 3 work nicely for me.
A conditioner wash means that you wash the hair with conditioner, no shampoo. Basically you are using your fingertips to massage the scalp with the conditioner in it, this is supposed to cleanse the scalp.
You may be surprised to see what your hair will do when you let it air dry w/a bit of oil and a hair polisher /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
