Has anyone tried this? I'm looking for an exfoliator that makes my skin smooth but not dry.

I have used it off and on for about 10 years. It is a good scrub.

Thanks Bett, what skin type do you have?

oh my goodness I love that stuff!!! It made my skin so soft when I first used it and it got rid of all the roughness on my nose from clogged pores.

Oily in the T-zone. Clinique makes the product according to your skin type. You have to go ask them what product line you should use based upon your particular skin.

I love this also. I have used it daily for 7 years now. I have combo skin. I have never had a problem with it. It is a keeper! Have you tried it? If not, when you go to the counter ask them for a sample. If they don't have a small tube sample they will put some in a small carry home container.

Avon's Sugar scrub is gentler and more effective. I used to use Clinique, but it's too harsh for anyone's skin. I don't know how they keep making all that money..

The 7 day scrub is not harsh at all.

I used their 3 step regime, but I found the toner so drying, so I stopped using the line. I only use their oil free moisturiser, which is good so far.

I agree - the toner is a little strong.

sithembile-

It sounds like you were using the wrong toner. You should take it back and tell them so they can skin type you again and then give you the right one for you skin type.

It was prescribed to me by them, as I have oily skin. Their toners have alcohol.

Most of Clinique's products are scientifically too harsh for the skin...you can use a test strip to see the imbalance in ph on some of them for yourself http://www.longhaircareforum.com/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

The alcohol is why I didn't like the toner either. I had the right one for my skin. The soap and 7 day scrub are awesome though.

I used to love the soap, too... it gives a good, moisturizing lather http://www.longhaircareforum.com/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
