I have a really dark neck, behind.. and scrubbing everyday helps..
if you use something like even Apricot scrub and a buffer.. there is a lot of grease and oils back there that just dont get washed away..
it started as I gained weight..
Neway, buy a buff puff and some scrub even soap and scrub away each time you take a shower, you'd be surprised

Does the skin also look thicker in the dark areas? If so, it's called acanthosis nigricans; it can be a precursor to diabetes.

Ambi cream works pretty good too. http://www.longhaircareforum.com/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Dr. Bronner's multi-purpose liquid soap (I use the peppermint).

I looked up what pressncurl said, because I've often seen over weight people with necks darker than the rest of their bodies.

rubbing pure lemon juice or using a lemon rinse will help. Then use a skin lightener twice a day.

MissJ, thanks for posting this... that's good to know!
