Has anyone tried these at home or had a service done at a salon or spa? I'm very intersted in trying them they said that the use of Glycolic Acid and Lactic Acid will help to stimulate and speed cell turnover, thereby producing more vibrant and smoother looking skin. The top layer of skin will be thinned by the exfoliation of dead cells, but in the deeper layers of skin, new collagen and elastin will be stimulated and the skin will actually become thicker, tighter and more firm. I went onto this site www.homepeels.com. (http://www.homepeels.com.)

The price is reasonalbe and and I have used Over the counter Alpha Hydroxy products in the past with little to no results.

I really just want to smooth my skin tone and get rid of this dead skin that I can just basically flake off of my face. Oh. and I wasn't planning on buying anything until after went to a Dermatoligist on the 27th of this month.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated!!!

I haven't ordered any yet...it won't be until mid Febuary due to my finances. I'll be sure to let you know exactly when I order. Let me know what company you ordered from and the price I may order from the same company...Thanks NayNay!!!

Hey Girl I bought one from Sephoria it costs $68. I think it is by Ellen Lange. I was told that if I didn't like it I could return it for a full refund. I will definitely let you know! I plan on using it the week after Valentine's day!

How has the glycolic acid worked out for you ladies? I'm considering purchasing a 30% kit

If it's your first time using glycolic acid, 30% is pretty strong. You don't want to get burned.

I would start off at 5% and work my way up. Check out Reviva. They have an excellent glycolic line of products.
