Okay,
I'm attending a paty this weekend with DH for a colleague's b-day party. It's "dress to impress" and for the firt time, I AM STUMPED! I don't know the host/hostess nor the other guests. So, first impressions.....The problem I'm having is that I want to look "right" but not be tooo sexy as it is a colleague, and I've never met them. Don't want my boobs all out there like "hello" either (D cup). Any suggestions?? My style is simple....I was thinking a simple sheath dress accesorized....maybe like this one:

What do you think??

I like it. But it doesn't look like it will hold any perky Ds :look:
Where will the party be at? Is it in the evening? Ask him what this co-worker wears to work most days, that'll give you an idea of her style. If she wears bright colors, always has new shoes, hair perfectly in place vs. a ponytail, etc.

Thanks for responding,
I have a strapless bustier to support the d-babies...but he's in the military and the coworker is a guy. They wear camies all day everyday. See my dilemma?:ohwell:

the dress is nice, but with a D cup you may want to go with a dress with the same cut but wider straps. Don't want to have a wardrobe malfunction:lachen:

Yes, that looks very nice - like the cut, straps and detailing, love the color of the 1st dress. But you're on the right track........ Don't Give Up!

OK we are here >><< (two fingers to eyes). That color would be great on your skin tone. Simple accessories and you'll be set.
See, it wasn't that bad was it?

I like the electric blue color as the party is a mardi gras theme (not formal though)....gees!....you can wear a mask if you want to....but I don't want to. I have asked DH to ask the man for more specifics, and all he gives me is "just wear a dress"....I'm like  smh!
So, I'm trying to find a safe outfir that's not too conservative but not to out there (the guy is his superior)...so I'm thinking a classy style in a vibrant color should be safe for the venue. They rented a club/event center for the event.
