I don't know how many of you followed this show - the Real Housewives of the OC (which is now being followed by an equally shallow Real Housewives of New York - although the women aren't as interesting).

Slade's house was placed in foreclosure on Feb. 2nd. Listing Price: $1.3MM MM.

From Irvine Housing Blog: And… the big news of the day, (insert awgee snickering here), Slade’s home (http://www.irvinehousingblog.com/2007/05/20/a-real-housedebtor-of-oc/) went back to the bank for $1,282,500. It looks like the zestimate of $3.15mil is a bit high (http://www.zillow.com/HomeDetails.htm?zprop=25619013). I guess Jo’s singing career is not going so well. And, for those who think we at IHB (Irvine Housing Blog) are completely heartless, and kill a puppy for every home sale, I sincerely hope his kid is doing well. Slade was in season 1. He was the 30ish young guy engaged to Joe. He is the only good looking man (imo) on the show.

I like this show. It shows that money can't buy a lot of things in life, specially happiness cause many of the folks on that show seem pretty miserable, including Slade. Makes me appreciate what I have.

That's messed up that the house is in foreclosure. I'd also like to know how his son is? Didn't he have two kids?

You know I kinda thought he was over extended. I thought him and Joe broke up though and he was her manager? He durn her damn squeals wasn't hitting on nothing:lachen:

Slade was the 30 year old commercial real estate exec trying to slow down Jo (the 20-something Latina who wanted to be a pop star).

The crazy part thing is, according to public record, the notice of default was filed 144 days earlier. That fool was living in that house for 6 months without paying. Probably during the whole taping of the show. :smh:

He'll be alright. You see how much the house appreciated since 2002. He probably got ALL the equity out of it.

Wow. For real? Foreclosure is hitting the rich and poor...or maybe he wasnt really rich afterall. I mean, now that I think about it, was it REALLY that serious for him to have that furniture store shut down just so that he, Jo, and his parents could shop for sofas and chandeliers?:rolleyes:

Honestly,

Jo is probably what broke him. He was so determined to make her love him. And, being on a reality show with all their drama can't have helped his business.
