If anyone has any empty or old MAC containers that they would not mind donating, I would greatly appreciate it.
I am doing an artistic MAC project and I need old containers.
I will cover the shipping.

Thanks

No I do not know about Mac to Mac. I stopped wearing MAC because it breaks me out. I use Bare Escentuals.
Its for an art project, sort of like the things done with Coke, Aluminum, Metal etc...

Thank you anyway.

Do you know that a friend of mine depotted her eye shadows and THREW THE CONTAINERS AWAY!!!! It was like 6 lipsticks worth! When I told her she tried to run to the trash can get them out, but it had already been picked up. I am still friends with her but I don't think our relationship will ever be the same. :nono:

What kind of project is it? What does it involve?

I am also curious as to why MAC would want old containers for a project when MAC has tons of that stuff lying around...

It sounded to me like she wants them to make some sort of artistic project with, like for an art class or something, not for Mac. A sculpture out of old Mac containers in the shape of a human face. Something nouveau like that, lol!

have you thought about contacting MAC corporate or locally and see if they will help you?

I know right! I just turned some empties in today. I need to depot my eyeshadows.

I remember when I was in undergrad somebody broke into my car and stole some stuff. I had a whole train case of makeup in there. Gone. I had a lot of stuff in there and quite a few almost empty/empty containers. I was so mad. And I had just bought the train case like 3 days before that and put ALL my stuff in there. :nono:

I saw one over at Specktra that used a flat iron instead of the candle. It looked easier.

You know, I am still working on using up enough containers to get some free products. I have one or two empty ones lying around . . . the rest are still at least half full :perplexed
