Hello ladies.
What can i use to get rid of the sun freckles on my face. They are mainly on my cheek bone area.

Is there something i can do to reverse the damage and clear up the spots.

TIA

Gentle lightening ingredients like Vitamin C, soy, kojic acid and licorice can help. You should apply a topical lightening agent at night since they are photosensitive on the areas. Look at Bliss, Peter Thomas Roth, Ole Henkrinsen (spelled wrong I know), and Murad. For a drugstore option, the Jeffery Dover treatment apparently has the same ingredients as more expensive brands.

If you don't start wearing sunscreen though, any topical treatment isn't going to help and they will get worse. Wear a photostable sunscreen every single day, paying more attention on really bright days and when you are driving in your car. The glass can intensify the rays. Any Neutrogena lotions with Helioplex is photostable, as is the Coppertone faces line and La Roshe Posay Anthelios suncreen.

Im not sure what will help but what GF wrote sounds good but you have to remember that the damage is beneath the skin also and it is not reversible.
So you MUST MUST MUST wear a sunscreen at all times even in winter.

Yeah they can get worse if you don't protect your skin. The next time you see an old lady, look at her hands. The left hand is usually worse than the right hand because that hand is exposed to more sun when you drive.

Skinceuticals Phyto+ contains kojic acid and arbutin. It works very well.
