I need help with concelor and foundation

Hello all,

I need a tutorial on covering my dark spots with concealers and then putting on my cream foundation. No matter what I do when I use concealers to cover spots when I am putting on my foundation the concealers gets rubbed off. What am I doing wrong.

I think you should reverse the order. Foundation first and then use the concealer to cover the spots that need more coverage.

everyone has a preference as to which order to put foundation and concealer. Here is what I do:

*Foundation all over, very light
* Concealer (I use MAC 194 brush. I like this much better than using my hands), pat it on lightly to the area you want to conceal
* Powder - but instead of a sweeping motion, I kind of blot it on. I found that doing it this way both the foundation and concealer stays put. You're not moving anything, just blotting the powder on top.

Also, if you have oily skin, you may need to use some kind of oil control lotion.

Put the foundation on first. Then the concealer. Pat it into your face with your finger. Don't rub it in. That's what I do. You'll need less concealer that way.
