I have a question. I'm 5'2" and weigh 135lbs. Every day since Tuesday I've worked out two hours on the treadmill. I started taking diet pills, drastically reduced the amount I've been eating, etc.
I'm taking two types of diet pills. One's a natural type to help with cravings, the other is Relacore. Because I have to drink a full glass of water with these, I usually can't stomach any food afterwards and so I don't eat. (Which, along with being busy, is the main reason I've been eating a lot less, not really because I'm "dieting".)
My question is this. It's been three days and I've lost somewhere between 0-3lbs. Every single time before this I've started dieting I've lost five pounds in the first few days MINIMUM, with considerably less effort than I'm putting in now. I know water weight and what-not is supposed to come off, but that doesn't seem to be happening here.
My question is why? Am I doing something wrong?

Sounds like you're doing too much. When you scare your body (not eating, taking new pills, excessive exercise etc..) sometimes it will go into survival/starvation mode and hold onto weight rather than loose it.

Fat and the initial water leave your body through waste. The transportation for that waste is water. Sooooooo, are you drinking your water?

Can u say impatient? lol...;) I dont think 2 and a half days is sufficient enough time to say what u are doing isnt working. Besides, your weight can fluctuate 3-5 lbs during the course of a single day.
Also, 2 hours a day on the treadmill is pretty intense, especially just starting out. Your muscles are probably retaining water bc they arent used to that activity so water rushes to the little tears created in your muscles to help repair them. Drink extra water to flush it out, and make sure u are allowing your body to recover at least one day a week.
Also try to at least guestimate how many calories you are taking in. That way u can figure out whether u need to go up or down in calories. You dont have to diet to track your caloric intake.

If you want to lose weight, then eat! Digesting food burns calories, keeps your blood sugar level, and fuels your metabolism. Starving your body thin isn't going to produce any type of lasting weight loss. Now when I say eat, I do mean eat healthy foods (i.e. veggies, fruits, lean protein, whole grains, low-fat dairy, etc.). And drink plenty of water. The weight will come off, just give it some time.

I'm not being impatient or anything, I'm just used to fast results the first week and when that doesn't happen I start to worry.
Here's what I'll do... a) Scale down exercising to thirty minutes a day and gradually move up from there. (Or should I keep exercising for two hours and just drink a lot more water?)
b) Drink a lot more water regardless.
Hopefully that will help?

45 minutes to an hour is fine for cardio, especially for now. If u can sustain 2 hrs, Id say 45 minutes to an hour is a good level for u.
And yep, drink that water.
Guess what? Ive been working out hard all week and eating sensibly....I was down a few pounds and then overnight Im up 2 and I didnt even eat anything bad....then I realized I ate some glory greens last night and they were probably extra salty so Im sure its just fluid. Look at the bigger picture. Also find some pants or a skirt that is really tight and try it on every week...I guarantee it will be looser every time. The scale doesnt always show the real picture.
