You strongly crave a certain comfort food, and a healthier choice won't do.
The urge to eat passes if you delay a few minutes.
The urge to eat is accompanied by a trigger, such as an emotion (stress, boredom or even happiness), particular place, person or situation.
You are eating to fill a void (loneliness, emptiness, lack of fulfillment).
You eat quickly, gobbling the food down without tasting or enjoying it.
You want a snack to relax, unwind or reward yourself.
You've eaten within the last two or three hours.

I am an emotional eater, but I have been working very hard to manage that. I've done very well. The only problem now is I sleep too much and have gotten lazy. Go figure. I workout, I eat like I should, etc., but I take a long nap in the middle of the day and then I don't want to do anything. At least I'm not eating comfort foods:ohwell:

I am not an emotional eater. I don't eat when there are problems. I just don't feel like eating. Which explains why i lost so much weight and got back to my size and a little smaller before having any kids.

I fit into this category or I eat when I am bored.

I am one for the most part, but when I am extremely anxious I can't eat at all. It's weird.
