I was thinking about adding this to my routine primarily to tighten my abs. If you use it, please share your experience. Also, state which brand you have.

Do you mean a stability ball? Those things are great. They work much more than just the abs. Cathe Freidrich does a cardio drill holding a stability ball and within a minute your arms feel like they're going to fall off.
You can use the ball for bench presses, pec flys, hamstring rollouts, bridges, and more. Not only is the ball a great tool to work your entire body, it also forces you to use your core muscles to stabilize yourself on the ball.
I have a Reebok stability ball. It comes with a hand pump. Got it at Target.

I do. I love doing barbell bench presses on it because you get a chest and ab workout. Q

um, don't remember the brand, but my stabiligy ball came in a kit (got it from Waldenbooks) with bands and a dvd. I use it mainly for ab and back exercises (crunches, reverse crunches, "swimming") and also for hamstring developement (lying w/ back on the floor and heels on center of ball, arching your back and bringing the ball in w/ your heels only-this really works the glutes and hamstrings). I sometimes use it to do wall squats (although my knees don't take kindly to this :nono:)

I got mine at Marshall's--lots of great fitness supply at discount prices. I love the stability ball. I use it for abs and toning legs.
