It's so unfortunate that I can't find any concrete info about his diet regimen. He made me  at saying carrots are actually hybrids. I need to do more research. Anyway, the sites that promote his DVD's look a bit shady to me and I can't find books supporting his theory. The closest I've gotten to hearing of a personal experience with him (besides Left Eye's documentary) was on this site http://www.assatashakur.org/forums/portal.php (the site is unfortunately down now)
Some stated that it's hard contacting the offices and even leaving a message.
He states on his myspace page that figtreeonline is not affiliated with him and that they are using his name for their own profit. On his website http://www.drsebi.com I can't locate what I desire. I just want a snipet of his diet regimen, man.

I bought his vitamin vieno (sp) and they came on time and the person I spoke to was very nice.
I told the girl that I wanted a good vitamin but I didn't have any known illness but I needed something that would be good for overall health and she told me the vieno would be good to take, but when I took it it made me feel funny so I stopped taking it.

I remember watching the Left Eye documentary...his diet plan looks like a lot of homeopahic herbs and raw foods. I do believe in the potential curing powers of his diet:yep:.

I do believe that a lot of what he says is valuable. I definitely think that most of the cures for a lot of our ailments are right here in the earth, and don't need to be man-made!:yep:

Before Left Eye died she mentioned Dr. Sebi & I started doing research. I was then on the Hallelujah Diet (not really a diet but a lifestyle).
The Hallelujah Diet (www.hacres.com (http://www.hacres.com)) is supposed to be biblically based (I am a Christian but this had nothing to do w/my decision to follow this lifestyle.) authored by a Rev. Malkmus & it cuts out what it calls the 5 bad whites: sugar, salt, dairy, meat & flour. You eat only 1 cooked meal per day & barley supplementing & carrot juicing are a large part of the diet as well. I followed this for about 6 months & every single thing that ailed me stopped. No cramps during my cycle. No more acne. The fibrocysts in my breasts disappeared. That's just a few.
But I digress. Back to Dr. Sebi. Back when I did my research, you could call California & his company would send you an info packet & a sample of one of their products. The whole idea was basically a raw, organic, vegetarian diet eliminating those foods he called hybrids like the OT mentioned & herbal supplements. And if you were in need of a cure - like AIDS, cancer, etc. you could contact his company & they would do a consultation & put you on the right course of supplements to get you better.
I don't belive Dr. Sebi's practices are much different than alot of raw food/vegetarian & holistic diets/lifestyles. I will say this. I have a cousin with AIDS and I told him about Dr. Sebi before he disaffiliated himself from figtreeonline.com. He went to one of the satellite branches where he lives & started on the supplements that they recommended. Mind you, my cousin is full blown & was starting to look like a walking skeleton. After a month on the herbs, he said that he was actually starting to gain his weight back & feeling 100% better than before. I haven't checked on him lately to see what his progress is but I suspect that he's probably looking much better than before.
Just b/c I've been following Dr. Sebi for awhile, from the outside it seems that he & his wife have split & that's where the split in the company comes from. Those opposing Dr. Sebi are basically claiming that he didn't do it by himself & doesn't own the rights to the products. :ohwell:
His daughter was living here in Atlanta & you could call her & she would personally deliver the products. My girlfriend used to order.
If I was diagnosed with a terminal illness I would probably hop the next flight to Honduras & spend some time with him. I think that he may be one of the best herbalists/holistic healers around. And of course this is just my opinion. :yep:

There is some truth to his methods. For instance, our bodies sustain better if we eat more alkaline of a diet (which is what in some measure he put clients on at his village), and that acidity in excess will destroy your body. I do find that some of his methods do produce results. Cooking your food in excess does destroy nutrients. You don't need to eat cooked food all day every day. I don't know if he is curing AIDS or cancer, but his methods will make the body more equipped to fight cancer and live in spite of HIV/AIDS. I do feel that meat, sugar, salt and white flour are horrible for you. I love yogurt (real yogurt not that fruit at the bottom crap-I add fruit to vanilla or plain yogurt) so giving up dairy completely is a problem for me.
So, there is some truth to his methods. However, every diet is not for everybody. What works miracles for one can hospitalize another. So, no matter what you decide in terms of holistic health, please be careful ladies...I am following Queen Afua for now. She is a little more affordable than Dr. Sebi.
I do find the fact that you can't find out what he personally eats a little suspect...

The Hallelujah Diet is awesome, I watched several programs about it on Daystar television the testimonies coming out of that camp are phenomenonal!

peace,
this article below was taking from dherbs. com- from what im told sebi is a york follower- we see that the fruit is just as rotten as the tree-
I have always had the 411 on Dr. Sebi but refrained from exposing him unless someone asked me my opinion of him.
Information has always been made known to me but past life astrology helped me to understand that I have always been an advisor to powerful people
Dr.
Sebi used to be the only game in town until Dherbs. Com came along. A part of the reason Dherbs came into existence was because of Dr. Sebi being the only game in town and charging poor Black folk an arm and a leg for herbs and in my opinion this is UNETHICAL.
I knew Dr. Sebi was a fraud and hypocrite when I used to hear him on the radio blasting Black people about what they unwisely consume and then he turns around and consumes the same things despite having the knowledge and knowing better. You must live what you espouse or walk your talk as they say.
Sebi doesn't!
My good friend Raw-Sheed caught Dr. Sebi at a Trader Joe's a few years ago buying of all things GOAT MILK and GOAT CHEESE. Sebi told him it's okay for him to eat these things because he knows how to cleanse his body of these things (dairy products) by going to his village in Honduras and soaking in his sulfur pools.
A brother named Gary used to work with and for Sebi but Sebi fired him. Gary came to me for legal help (child support) and was very hurt by Sebi. He said Sebi always sides with the women and that the coochie tells Sebi what to do and that Sebi had to either fire some women or Gary and sided with the women over Gary and released him when Gary was just exposing how certain women at the office was messing up which wasn't good for the business.
I heard Dr. Sebi himself say on L.A. radio that he was immoral and insane and I used to wonder why he would say that so publicly but brother man is very smart. He puts it out in advance. Well, of course dude loves to smoke marijuana but then he also drinks BOOZE! Now this blew me away because alcohol is a known poison. And then to snack on Lay's brand potato chips too! I knew this dude was borderline genius and insane at the same time, riding a very thin line. But how can you condemn people for eating bad and you do the same? No one could ever come to my home and chill with me for a matter of hours or even days and ever catch me eating anything that I espouse is unhealthy. I live my words and very easily so.
Back in the early 2000's I started meeting so many women who used to work for Dr. Sebi (ole boy loves women or what they possess between the legs) who told me they quit working for Sebi because of all the sexual advances the man made against them. He already has 32 or 33 children by 17 different women.
Just a few years ago a woman in Miami charged him with rape (though Sebi prevailed).
But still, to be charged in the first place!
The dude has a corrupt heart! A well known celebrity used to go to Sebi but ended up coming to speak with me in Glendale and purchase herbs and told me Sebi was a robber, charging him thousands upon thousands of dollars because Sebi knew he had money. This person is a famous Motown recording artist and has been since the 1960's. The person was blown away at what I was charging him (for the herbs) and before he left told me "You have a good heart, brother, and will go far in life because of it.
"
This person literally jolted backwards when I told him the price of the herbs (his total purchase). I guess he was expecting a higher price. But I don't charge celebrities higher than what I charge Joe Blow around the block. How could I? How could I justify it? Again, it's UNETHICAL! Because my prices were so cheap, celebrities used to buy up damn near everything I had available. Every celebrity would stay and chop it up with me for at least 3-5 hours. Michael De Lorenzo (N.Y. Undercover) came by one day and we were discussing law and sovereignty for hours. He was blown away at what I was showing him in the law books (he couldn't argue with anything because it was all in the book, how taxes are voluntary, a driver's license is only for commercial use, how there are 2 United States: US and USA, etc.). I didn't care about your status! Hell, as far as I am concerned everybody is a servant/slave/artificial entity in this joint (corporate U.S.) and need to know.
I don't give a damn who you are!
Brandy used to spend a fortune when she came over. And every time too! And she really used and liked the products. Black celebrities really want to trust the little Black business owner, they do, they just don't like it or feel good about being exploited for the money due to having money and being famous.
They resent it! They really do!
It pissed me off when Jermaine Jackson got brother Michael Jackson to embrace the little Black business man and herbalist (Dr. Sebi) only to find out this scandalous *** man tried to exploit the entire jackson family, especially Michael. Dr. Sebi is blinded by money and that's why he is not known internationally and on the level that he could be. His heart is corrupt and you will never go far in life with a corrupt heart. Never! YOU DON'T HAVE TO ROB people! You don't rob the people who come to you for help.
Michael came on board for help healthwise. Dr. Sebi had Gary cooking meals for Michael Jackson and Mike was thinking about becoming vegan. Mike really opened up. Then, the scandalous *** Dr. Sebi sends the Jackson family a bill for services in the amount of $200,000.00 when according to Jermaine the services were only for $10,000.00 (and that's what the Jackson's paid him). Again, dude is corrupt! You can't exploit Mike because others have and tried to. It's not right! Thank goodness a Superior Court judge knew the lawsuit was frivolous, anemic, specious, and spurious and rightly dismissed it with prejudice.
You see, Sebi's logic is this: if you are in the hospital receiving allopathic care and pay a few thousand dollars, Sebi feels that if he helps you with herbs you should pay him the same thing you paid the allopathic hospital and doctor(s) but you can't do this. Allopathy charges high prices because that's juts how and what they do and it's understandable because it's their game - they invented it; but you can't charge a man $300,000 because you helped him with some herbs. Herbs are cheap compared to drugs. How you gon' charge somebody $500,000 because you help healed them with some cheap herbs? How do you justify the hours you spent working with the rich person when you only charge the layman $150-200 for an hour consultation? It's not fair! They rich person or celebrity is getting the same service the layman is. I know this is a capitalist society, but goddamn! You're supposed to understand the situation pertaining to the poor and disenfranchised and the dichotomy between naturopathy and allopathy and how much money a person has doesn't change this dichotomy. Hell, I know poor people spend lots of money on bullshyt but when it comes to health I can't exploit this. I must help them for cheap (same price as everyone else) and impact them this way helping them to become health conscious, and now they will continue to patronize me as well as spread the word and this is what happened to me and how I grew. Up until 2003 I was all word of mouth with no website at all but was still known all over America because of the people and word of mouth.
Getting back to Mike, Mike messed up telling Sebi all of his business and what he owned in tangibles (real estate, etc.) as Sebi got on L.A. radio (102.3's The Frontpage) and put it all out there while simultaneously praising Mike ("Mike is the man!").
It's the same old story with Sebi - a well known celebrity comes to Dr. Sebi trying to give him (the little man) a chance and his greed gets in the way and he blows the chance all over money (GREED). Same situation with Mike J happened with singer Teddy Pendergrass. Sebi helped him a little (with his paralysis, but not a total healing of course) and sent the man a bill demanding a few hundred thousand dollars and tried to justify it because Teddy had paid some European doctors a few hundred thousand to help him (to no avail) but that's what allopathic doctors do. We natural healers (healing assistants) are not like this. The money comes in the long run for just helping people.
It did for me! I can't even go public with the amount of money Dherbs. Com makes today.
All I can say is it's mad crazy!!!!
Sebi didn't get paid and stopped working with Teddy! See, if it was me, I would have never been fired by Teddy because my price would have been reasonable and I would have strived for the healing over the money because when the word got out that a paralyzed man was healed, it would have been over with. See, I always sought the healing over the money and because of that I now get both. But the greater joy is hearing of healing success stories. The money is good and makes me feel good, but it's not like the chills I get from hearing success stories.

DR. SEBI PART TWO
So now I'm dealing with some cats on You Tube pertaining to Dherbs. Com's "Spectrum Show" who claims Dherbs uses bioengineered herbs and think Dr. Sebi is the **** and gets his herbs from Africa. I tried to post a comment exposing something most Sebi-ites don't know but I guess it wasn't meant for me to air over there, but Dr.
Sebi is also a liar because this crook tells dumb and unsuspecting Black people that he gets his herbs from Africa and the truth is the cat gets his herbs from herbal stores located in EAST LOS ANGELES and NORTH HOLLYWOOD, California and a few local people know this (everybody associated with Dherbs know this fact)!
Now this is major FRAUD! How you gon' get herbs from California and tell folks they from Africa? Just outright SCANDALOUS!
Now Maa, his former wife, goes public (posted above) and tells everybody that Sebi is slandering her and her company and demands the formulas for the herbs (which are hers, by the way) and to stop selling them so he can manufacture and sell them. Listen, if the formulas were Sebi's in the first place, don't you think he would know the formulas HE concocted? I know all of my formulas here at Dherbs because they are in my head so I could never lose them. Never! But Sebi is asking for "The Fig Tree's" herbal formulas. This goes to show you Dr. Sebi did not compound these products. Maa did! She's always been the herbalist! Dr. Sebi was the spokesperson and advertiser for the products.
Take nothing away from Dr. Sebi's knowledge because he does have it. He just does not practice what he knows. He's a master salesman who knows how to take people to the bank. He exploits desperation or despair in people, including poor people. He charges people $2,000.00- $5,000.00 for so-called 'cures'. It's not that serious! You can't help people to heal, at least wholistically without addressing the THOUGHTS, ATTITUDE, DIET, LIFESTYLE, SUBTLE BODY, and ENVIRONMENT. Herbs alone can't and won't do it. This is why I deal with so many things here at Dherbs, because your healing must be wholistic. I also let you know YOU alone are responsible for your healing and you really don't need anything outside of self for healing (except for essential nutrients via food and drink).
These days, I am leery and weary of anything "Afrocentric," "Black consciousness," "Black," etc, because a lot of scandalous *** people hide behind these terms and are waiting to rob and exploit people, sadly and unfortunately giving these terms a bad name. This is selfishness in the negative light.
It has been my desire for a long time to let all Black people (and people period) to be aware of the money hungry healers, leaders, and guru/teachers out there who will attempt to exploit under the banner of "Black," "Blackness," "Afrocentricity," 'Kemet," etc. and simultaneously tell you not to trust White people and their great works in similar fields of metaphysics, health, herbology, quantum physics, etc. No, White people ain't going to give you 100% truth but neither are Black people. True, I wouldn't put all my trust in a White person but I damn sure wouldn't put all of my trust in a Black person either. Hell, I trust my self and the Universe alone 100% and that's all I need.
Just beware people! Always remember that God and Nature are equal opportunity healers and you don't need money to be healed or healthy, though money helps in this society (it really does). Healing is your birthright and you don't need money to exercise a birthright.
You don't have to be robbed in order to be helped just like you don't have to be harmed in order to be healed.
