Do you eat your fruit and vegetables according to what's in season? I try to but as far as fruit goes I find myself sticking to lots of apples and bananas. What other fruits are out there that make sense for this time of year?

Citrus is in season right now. Oranges, grapefruits, and clementines abound in the produce section.

Since spring of last year, I began to consistently eat in season and it's been PHENOMENAL!!!!!!!! Foods (fruits and veggies) taste so much better. :lick:

But now that we're in the dead of the winter, I have to tweak my diet because unless you live in a warm climate, nature doesn't grow fruits this time of year. :nono: So I rely on fall seasons fruits like pears. I don't like apples and I can't do too much citrus. I eat bananas year round.

I have been eating more sweet pumpkins and yams, so it satisfies my sweet tooth a bit, but I know, it's not the same. :nono:

I have tried these to break up the monotony

Persimmons(like apples with honey taste)
Pomagranates

But clemetines and oranges are in season too.
