i need everybody's advice on this one.
for the last couple of months i have been using the proactiv solution. however i do not like their cleanser and i don't like the toner. i hate toners in general. so the only thing that i like and use is the benzoyl creme. and i refuse to keep paying $50 every two months just for that cream.
i just looked on the sephora web site and i would like to know which of these is better or which has worked for you pretty good:
DDF 10% Benzoyl Peroxide & 3 % Sulphur
DDF 5% Benzoyl Peroxide & Tea Tree Oil
Peter Thomas Roth BPO Gel 10%
Peter Thomas Roth BPO Gel 10% & Sulphur
I think that the creams with sulphur are more drying than the ones without. please correct me if i am wrong. i always wash my face with a sulphur soap and my dermatologist has told me that i should use medium warm or even colder water to rinse my face cause the warmer the water the more drying the soap will be. she told me to wash my face with more warm water in the summer months ( more oily).
please help me out on this one ladies. i do not have severe acne. i have a pimple from time to time but i think i need a benzoyl product. they always work very well on my skin and keep it clear. however if the product is too strong or too drying my skin will be so dry it will start flaking. especially around the corners of my lips.
sorry this was so long but i just wanted to give you some info.
thanks /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
