Isn't it hard??? but I have to say i think i'm getting mildly addicted!
I got the Get Ripped Advanced 1 & 2 workouts (plus a bonus 8 min workout). Plus I have a separate Tae Bo Abs and Glutes one. These are sooo good.
These are the first home workouts that make me feel like I do when I've just done a gym class.
What tapes do you have and how long have you been doing it?

Hi BRH /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
YES! It is hard, but let me just say that I'm on the basic level, lol!!!
I've had 2 back to back pregnancies and didn't have the desire to keep up any sort of excercise routine. Girl I wish I had, I'm starting all over. I've just started doing them since the new year (after a failed attempt at getting started sometime in Nov.). I have a set with 4 tapes: the instructional tape, basic, advanced and the 8 minute workout. Like I said I'm still trying to master the basic tape. Well, maybe not master it, but at least get the point where I don't have to stop and jog on the spot through some of the moves. I'm really liking it though. It's pretty unrealistic for me to co-ordinate going to the gym and finding childcare for my 2 year old and 8 month old girls. I like the fact the I can get an awesome workout in my living room, while the girls are playing, or sleeping etc. I can pause the tape if necessary, although I don't like to have to do that...
I feel so strong and confident especially when doing the kicks! I'm pretty small: 5'1, but weigh 120 pounds, I'd like to lose about 5-10 more. Really, I just want to get in shape. DH doesn't want me getting too skinny like before I had the kids (100 pound, eek!). What are your fitness goal (you don't have to tell me pounds but, are you losing weight, firming up, etc.)? How are you doing with the Getting Ripped tapes? Are they really, really challenging for you? What's your food diet like? TIA. sorry for the novel, lol

Well my goals are to firm up and stay slim. I just want to be toned. If I could lose approx 5 pounds or a tad more than that'd be good too as thats what I used to be. So I don't have alot of weight per se to lose but just 'firm and lean up' if that makes sense. Plus I want to increase my flexibility.
I love these tapes though. I haven't even done the 8 minute one yet. I've so far just been switching between the 2 one hour workouts. I too can't do certain moves that to me are sooo hard but I love the challenge as its something to work towards acheiving. I do them approx 2 to 3 times a week, depending on how I'm feeling that evening /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif These are definitely challenging though. After each workout I look like someone threw water on my face, I am literally dripping sweat on the floor and my clothes go darker from the sweat. But I like that. If your going to make the effort to work out then you might as well do it properly!
I do a cardio kickbox class on Fridays at the gym which is really good, the same level as these Get Ripped tapes. I've already got my eye on getting another Tae Bo workout that I've seen on amazon but the one I want is on vhs, I want the DVD so I'm going to do a little shopping around to see if I can get it in that format.
My food diet is okay. I try to eat healthily although today I had pizza for lunch /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif I make sure I've done eating by 7.30 at the latest and have cut down on carbs and sugar. That's about it. I've not completely eliminated these things (thus pizza today) , but just cut down alot. I don't believe in depriving myself of anything. Just keeping it in moderation /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Thankfully, the instructor at the gym does a workout that is as hard as the Get Ripped Tae Bo and she's really good too!
I'm feeling ill right now so haven't done a thing this week /forums/images/graemlins/ill.gif but hopefully I can start it all again next week.
CandyChild, that abs and glutes tape is unbelievable. I've never done such a hard ab workout! let me know what the ab/arm one is like if you do get it.

i just want to say that i love my taebo! i can't live without the advanced tape in the blue box. i've had it for a year now and use it 2-3 times a week. i alternate with the glutes and abs...wow! how challenging! i can finally get thru the entire advanced on a regular basis...although, i'm cussin billy out /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gifthroughout the entire workout! i do cardio 3x a week with taebo adv. and alternate between taebo glutes & abs and my winsor pilates advanced which i love and totally relaxes my body. i can't stress enough how billy really does work it. my four pack that i haven't seen since sept. is finally starting to form again /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif. no cottage cheese to report /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif! i want to slim down though. i usually bounce between 115-120 and now i want to stay at 115. it sounds small, but really isn't. i also try to run 3 miles 3x week and hope to be at 5miles by springtime. i love the gym and just want one of my own at home!

Ebony, I love the Tae Bo too and love the Abs and Glutes. OMG that is sooo tough! and he goes really fast, a little tooo fast actually on some of the stomach moves I think.
Its a brilliant 30 mins though of stomach work that flies by and leaves me sweating!
Now I'm going to add The Firm and see how I get along adding that into the routine to bring weights into the picture.
Billy rocks though. C'mon work it! /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
