I read in one of my favorite fitness mags that putting your fork down between bites helps you eat less and feel fuller(sp?is that a word?).

well I did that just now and it really worked. For one thing, I didn't wolf down my food and I was more aware of how full I started to feel. I also was able to savor my food and eat more slowly which has also been linked to weight loss and appetite control.

I read that in Chic & Slim by Anne Barone. I've been telling myself to do that when I eat. I tend to eat quickly without chewing as long as I should, so I like this advice.

yes...you are supposed to chew your food VERY well and put the fork down after you take a bite.

I did it again today with my meals. I actually feel elegant when I do it:):blush:
And once again, I felt full and ate less. I'm also are very aware of what you're eating. Usually I am guilty of wolfing my food down. This will probably really help me with my portion control. Its so simple and yet it works so well
