I woke up in the middle of the night gagging. I had a lot of mucous and my head was ringing. This morning my throat was sore, my voice is raspy, my head is hurting, I am nauseous, and I am weak. My co worker had it a few weeks ago. Does this sound like the flu to you guys? If I do, how long does it usually last and is there anyway to help it move along faster? TIA Q

Q, I'm sorry you're sick. You didn't mention any fever, and flu is accompanied by fever, since it's a viral infection. I've had flue-type symptoms before, but they were the result of an allergic reaction.
Because of my methods of treatments, we and my patients usually only suffer with the flu (if we get it) a maximum of 72 hours. This is how I take care of them:
