What are the best moisturisers, creams for extra dry skin?

I have skin like the Sahara, and the best thing for me has been the Cetaphil cream (not the lotion). Its thick and moisturizing.

When I need a little more help, I moisturize first with Cetaphil cream, let it soak in for about 5 minutes, and then use Aquaphor ointment on top of it, to "seal" the moisture in my face. Works like a charm.

Last year, I used to get terrrible dry patches on my cheeks. I am now using Emani Gold Turmeric Cream and soap. I also do flax seed oil facials-take one flax seed oil break the capsule at night and slather on my face. I haven't had a dry patch yet this year(knock on wood). I also take supplements(multi-vit, amino acids and fish oil) in the morning.


Cetaphil is an excellent solution too.

DHC Tocophero E Cream is the best! It is a vitamin e cream. It is pricey ($28) but I don't really mind paying for a product that really delivers.

Ponds Dry Skin Cream is decent for products you get at the store, but it is not so good if you have eczema related dryness.

The best thing I have ever used was Vitamin E oil mixed with my Favorite lotion Oil Of Olay.

I have the driest skin in the world..lol. I have eczema so my skin is uber dry now. Here are some of the best products for dry skin:

Cetaphil Cream
Cerave Cream (this has Hyaluronic Acid to bind moisture to the skin)
(I mix a little Olive Oil with mine to make it more emollient)

Also, I read in Dr. Leslie Baumans book, she's a dermatologist, to spray your face with mineral or spring water, then apply your moisturizer.
