Thanks, I just hate seeing women who can't walk in heels and are dragging along, even when the heels aren't supr high, it's just sad. Besides skirts dresses and heels always get more compliments from both men and women.

Yea, I have a pair of Frederick's stilettos.
I plan on walking around in them all winter... preparing for that 1st day of Spring to get my strut on... lol.

Thanks for posting the tutorial. I will have to practice my walk. I feel insecure in anything above a kitten heel .

Does practicing in the house really help?? I just bought a pair of 4 inch heeled boots and when I put them on, it feels like I'll NEVA get used to that height... :look: (I've never worn anything more than a 3 inch heel... and even that's pushing it... )

I wore a "higher than normal" heel to work one day and the next day my feet and calves were killing me!!

I definitely think it helps...plus if u do have to fall or whatever u can and no one will see u....I even clean in mine to get used to standing up in them.....then after if ur feet do hurt do a niice lil pepermint soak and rub down..and ur good.. I try to alternate too...heels one day flats the next
wedges are good frorbeginners too

I LOVE heels... But mostly, I love the platform heels, that way, the heel can be even higher, but your foot doesn't have that crazy slant on it. I'm 5'7 1/2, and I love being like 5'10 or 5'11 in my heels!

:lachen:Cannot tell you the times I've worn them around the carpeted shoe store, worn them around my carpeted living room-they fit and feel like heaven--then the hell begins when I walk outside, the hard sidewalk, the pebbles..oh shoot..where are my little kitten heels?!:wallbash:

I LOVE stilettos :yep: anywhere from 3 1/2 to 4 inches is my max.

I would highly suggest that you practice with them off Carpet cuz there's such a big diff. Also the more you where them in the house the more comfy they become.......b/c the worst part about Stilettos is when their New and have not been stretched out......and your toes are doing this, :wallbash: loool

Good Luck Ladies......

Heels make u soooo look fierce & men love them....especially n'tha bedroom :couple:!!!!!

Great Vid!!!!

When I was with a "local modeling group" this is exactly the poise/stance they taught to walk the runway so that you look gracefull and confident. Chest up, Pelvic out(but not to much) which is the same as engaging the abs.

To all the ladies rockin fgirdles, this stance shld be a breeze, since the girdle will have your posture on point.

I totally agree w/ the bolded.... When I try on new shoes I'd like to buy, I walk in them on the carpet AND I find some hard floors to walk on. Such a big difference...

I've never worn anything over 2" in my life. Most of the time, I just stick with 1.5".
