Okay, ladies I need to replace my walkman. It has stracth up my CDs when I go jogging. It also pops open at times which slows me down. I need to have music while I workout. It helps me stay in the zone. I currently hace a Panasonic SL_SX390 Anti Skip System.

If you have a mac, i would suggest you buy an ipod! I just bought one and it's the best electronic gadget I've bought all year. I don't go anywhere without it.

Sony makes GREAT sports ones. A little pricey, but the CD won't skip even if you drop it.

Thanks! I heard IPOD was good. I don't know if I can afford it. I will check into Sony as well too.

Yip, I have a Sony VAIO one. http://www.longhaircareforum.com/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif I've dropped that thing a dozen times and it still works. http://www.longhaircareforum.com/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I want one that I can strap to me so that I don't have to hold it or one with a really strong clip on it.

I don't have enough money yet. I might be selling my plasma for extra cash. From what I understand they give you $60 and you can go twice a week.

What about a MP3 player? It's not as expensive as a IPOD and I can strap it on my arm while jogging.

I went to the Apple website and the Ipod costs $299 without taxes. I am a really broke college student from a mostly broke family whose only source of money for X-mas presents is from selling plasma and textbooks. I really can't afford one of those. I can get MP3 music free from Kazza right.

sbaker:what kind of MP3 player do you have?

I am a broke, single mother with a new car note. So I won't be paying $300 for an IPOD. Walmart had some MP3 players for under a $100. Circuit City has an RCA Lyra 128MB Pocket MP3 player for $99. We probadly don't need anything fancy. I just want to use it when I go jogging. Target had a memorex MP3 player for $50.

I have a Nike PSA mp3 player. I've had it for a few years now and it works really well. It has an armband also. I jog and workout at the gym and it don't have to worry about fumbling with anything. I just strap it to my arm and go. They make sports bras so that you can put the wires through and everything but I don't use them. You can also just put the little piece right inside your sports bra if you don't like using the armband.

My bad. It wasn't a Sony VAIO, I was thinking about the laptop. http://www.longhaircareforum.com/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif It was a Sony something though.
