HELP! What to wear under this

I bought this from Kohls on a whim the other day. It was only $23 bucks so I figured why not. I really like the sweater. The material is soft and smooth but it has patterned holes in it so I must wear something under it.

I have pretty good taste in clothes but I'm not too swift in pulling the minor details together. What should I wear under and what colors. Something sleeveless would be okay b/c the holes are not THAT big but big enough to require something under it.

You could wear a tank top or sleeveless shell in the same color as your belt or the same color as your skirt/pants if you want a coordinating look. If you want some contrast, throw on a red tank and some jeans.

Thank you so much! I appreciate you responding. I have a chocolate sleevless top so that's good, but I also like your suggestion to step out of the safe "matching" zone and go with a contrasting color.

I believe I could pull the contrasting colors together with jewelry. I appreciate it!
