I want to give my contacts a rest and buy some designer glasses. I'm looking for a trendy BOLD pair. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Check out Lenscrafters. They seem to always have great selection to choose from. Everything from Bulgvari to Chanel to Calvin Klein. I just purchased two pair: DG and Chanel!!

Lenscrafters and Pearle Vision usually have stylish bold frames in stock. Pearle Vision especially has much better styles in store than on their website. But their lens packages are really pricey. Surprisingly enough Costco has nice frames in great styles with reasonable lens packages. If you're in the midwest (though they have a few shops on the East Coast in DC, MA, and FL) try the SEE optical shops (http://www.seeeyewear.com/). They always have great lenses and their service staff are pros at finding styles that really suit you.

Thanks guys. I have a discount savings card for LensCrafters I got from my job. I didn't know lensCrafters had 'real' designer glasses!!

I thought I'd be stuck with tommy hillfiger or FUBU selection... also I thought maybe some designers might have established a rep for glasses and quality? Anyway. I'll stop by the store this weekend and take a look.

Their Prada selection is nice too! But, if you want some really nice stylish glasses...search La Font. They are too grown and pricey for me right now, but when I grow up (save some money), I will be getting a pair.
