What has been your experience using brow stencils?
Can someone please post the best eyebrow stencils or kits and where to find them?
I've heard that Anastacia & Ardell(?) were good.
Thanks!

Before I went free-hand, I used stencils to do my eyebrows. Tried both Eyebrowz.com stencils and Ardell and IMO the latter was by far better. I preferred Ardell's length - Eyebrowz.com stencils were short and just not flattering IMO. It is actually from the Ardell stencils that I learned the general shape I create nowadays freehand.

So if you haven't mastered shaping or filling in eyebrows freehand, I recommend stencils. The tricky part is you might find the completed eyebrows aren't on the same level or angle at times, if you use only one stencil at a time and don't have that band (?) that Eyebrowz sells to hold two in place symmetrically before you start. (I have sparse eyebrows so stencils used to help guide my dark brown pencil to create beautiful brows. Because I don't have a natural arch, they also helped guide me in what hairs to pluck underneath to create an arch.)

I've had one before, but the stencil shapes were HUGE! No way was I wearing brows that thick, long and wide! :nono: I go freehand now with Maybelline eyebrow powder in dark brown, along with another eye/brow liner in black.
Nonie your brows are gorgeous!!
BTW--I have no idea what brand name the set was.

Thanks! your brows are GORGEOUS!!! i think i might be a little challenged when it comes to applying make-up and stuff. i would definetely need to have something to hold both stencils up at the same time...

i like thick eyebrows with a nice shape. i've been trying to grow mine out from plucking them. BUT, i know what you're talking about. i don't want to look like Eddie Munster or anything...i like Kim K's brows, but i don't want mine quite as thick.
