I'd like to find some sweet, simple, trendy/fashionable, low-priced jewelry. I'm not sure if this falls under the category of costume jewelry or just plain ol jewelry but what are some other good sites I can go to to shop online for jewelry of this nature and similar price range?

Costume Jewelry IMO is anything that you can't wear on a daily basis, that isn't made with precious metals and stones (fine jewelry).
Forever 21 = 100% costume jewelry. If this is your price range, I'd also check out things like Clare's and Icing, H&M, Zara and Mango.
Folks say costume jewelry is a bad thing. It's just stuff you can't wear on a daily basis.

Costume jewelry to me are the fun pieces that you can accesorize an outfit with for a small amount of money.
Try www.girlprops.com (http://www.girlprops.com)
Also some department stores ( Jcpenney, Sears) . They usually have nice holiday pieces. Check the clearance rack.
You can always try discount stores too like Walmart, Big Lots etc.

Nonono! Costume jewelry is not bad and you can wear it daily if they are good pieces.
Depatment stores usually sell nice durable costume jewelry. My fav is JC Penny (avoid Juniors brands). Also Avon has really good jewelry. It never loses its shine, its sturdy, and it won't break out your skin.
Also check out your local thrift store, ebay, and your gramda's jewelry box for nice vintage jewelry. They are unique and tend to be made better.
I don't recommend Forever21 for costume jewelry by the way (with the exeption on bangles since they tend not to have parts that can fall off). It will only last you one wearing, that is if you make it home with it in one piece.
HTH (This is coming from a TRUE, costume and precious stone, JUNKIE!!!)

Costume jewelry: Fake, or jewelry made from cheap material. Plastic earrings, bangles, fake gold, diamond, etc. Costume jewelry is not necessary limited to specific occasions. You have casual costume jewelry like trendy bangles you can where every day and dressy costume jewelry like fake diamonds necklaces that you wouldn't wear every day.

Thanks ladies! I'd forgotten I'd started this thread :drunk:. I think I like department store costume jewelry the best. Other stores that sell jewelry (think 3/$10) seem to break really quickly
I like JC Penny jewelry....it's seemed to have lasted the longest. I'll try other department stores online sites as well as Burlington. Thanks!!!
