I'm trying to lose 10 lbs...but have been unable to. I'm hoping this will help. I have noticed when I cut back on the portion amount I feel much better later, then when I eat alot.
I'm gonna have to start measuring my food. Thanks for the tip. http://www.longhaircareforum.com/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Yea, I do the portion control thing. I do it with my cereal, rice milk, and foods other than meat. This was one of my tips that helped me lose over 40 lbs. Give it a try!

When you're 5 foot 3... 10 lbs is almost 2 dress sizes. Alot of my clothes are too tight and I can't afford new ones. Thanks for the encouragement!

Portion control is key. You'd be surprised how much over the serving size we all eat of most foods.

I try portion control but I get soooo hungry. Even water wont stop my stomach growling. How do you all do this and not get hungry? My job requires that I be able to really concentrate and when I even try to go below a certain level I get week. I am also really tall, so that affect my need for food.

My mom has been dowing portion control and exericizing on the treadmill at our house and went from a size 20 to a loose 16 in like 2 months. She's well on her way to lookin good for the summertime!! (BTW she is 5'9 like me so the size looks smaller than what it really is)

This is difficult for me, but I've been doing it for a little while now. My main problem used to be eating the WHOLE plate because it tasted SO GOOD. Now, I've been keeping my portions very small.
