I'm asking because I do not get sore from doing the workout. I'm one of those people that believe no pain no gain. :wallbash: I struggle through the workout, but the next morning I have no soreness.
Do I need another workout tape or is pilates just that gentle on the body??
Help!!

Not all workouts make you sore...sore isn't always a good thing. If you are already fit and active soreness is less likely.
Pilates is more about creating long lean muscles...it also helps to improve flexibility.

Ditto. It's not supposed to leave you sore. You might feel some burn as you're doing the exercise, but the sequence is designed to stretch you out and recover so that you're not sore afterwards.
The results are subtle but effective. Keep with it, you'll see!

I've been left sore. Like you - if I do a workout and I'm not drenched by the end I'll go do another workout b/c I feel like I didn't do anything. I like the Windsor Pilates Butt and Thigh workout -- that buuuuuurns. And usually after the first couple times I do it after taking a break I'm sore. Also the Abs workout - I get just alittle soreness there. Maybe you can try a more challenging DVD if it's not giving you the oomph you need.

Thanks girl! I was sitting here thinking I was crazy. I can understand a diff type of soreness but none had me worried! I'll have to try the Windsor abs workout!

The only thing thats left sore is my "powerhouse" and thats it. Not so much with anything else, though.

Pilates left me sore once. It was one of the first workouts I did when I decided to get back in shape. I felt it for several days. Now it takes a lot to make me sore, especially in my lower body.
