Okay ladies, how did you do? Well, I did okay this week. I got to the gym 4 days this week. I ate really well, primarily sticking to veggies and fruits, along with chicken and veggie burgers. However, I think I have hit a wall because with all my faithfulness, my weight is exactly the same. So, I may need to change up something next week. But, I feel great, other then a little cold, and I think my clothes look nice on me. So, that's what's important. Also, I've drank more water in this past week than I think I've ever done in my life. I'm really proud of that...I got in anywhere from 34oz - 90 oz of water in each day. Pretty good, huh? http://www.longhaircareforum.com/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I was so busy trying to keep up with my school work ( long nights and early mornings) that I have only worked out twice (water aerobics) and my diet plan was thrown out the window. I feel a bit bad because the longest walk that I have had this week was the one that I made to the bus stop so that I could go to Wal-mart. Oh well there is always next week. Walking this weekend has been put on the back burner because it is cold, wet, and the college tour (high school students) are here. I really don't want to answer their questions so I am holed up in my room. The good thing about that is is that I have plenty of apples and water in case I get hungry. Next week will be all about the gym because I will be going home Thursday night or Friday morning.
I have been keeping up with my vitamins and water though.
My Aunt tried to get me to do the 6 small meal a day thing earlier in the semester but that really does not fit in with my schedule, How am I supposed to nap during the day or catch up on homework if I am eating. So as direct result I usually have about two meals a day, and maybe 2-3 snacks in between with lots of water.
Next week along with an increased workout schedule, I will be low carbing in preparation for Thanksgiving. As long as I keep away from the doughnuts at breakfast and the pizza, pasta, and chicken sandwich at lunch and dinner I should be fine.
Hopefully you all saw my post with the link about the perfect salad. Having salads with low cal dressing and low cal toppings in combonation with the protein and workout increase should boost my metabolism over Thanksgiving so that I won't gain too much weight.

I still think you did well, considering all that's going on. Trust me, I remember the demands of school so please know I'm still proud of what you did do. And as for the diet being "out the window" I so hear you girl. I know under certain conditions, I would be so on that same boat with you. I can just here me, "screw the diet..." http://www.longhaircareforum.com/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif But you have the right idea, to get started again next week.
As for the holidays, I have sat down and written out a workout to do during them so I can enjoy the food without having the guilt of gaining weight. Maybe you can do the same. I will be waking up doing some "indoor" stuff (e.g., jumping jacks, squats, floor things and arm stuff). Then, after meals I will bundle up and go for a walk so to get that stuff moving. Then, I'll probably do the same morning routine before gettign a shower and going to bed. Also, I'm kinda cheating, I'm getting a dieter's tea to drink at night in order to move that stuff out each morning http://www.longhaircareforum.com/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif It's a shame how I fear the holidays because of my inability to contorl my eating...I wish I couldn't cook http://www.longhaircareforum.com/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
Well, good luck next week Sweetie, just hang in there.

I can't really walk in my neighborhood. The people up the street have a big mean dog that is always getting out and my Mom is nervous about the migrant workers. But I can try out my pilates tapes.

this week was okay...i did well with the eating for the most part except for those pms cravings where i broke down and ate some cheetos...lol....i gained about 2 pounds but i do this every month right before that time, so i expected that. i will wait until next week to weigh again when everything is back to normal. i guess u can say i'm in the pms funk and i have a very irritating cough thats keeping me up. anyway, so far its not so bad. i hope for things to smooth over for next week...
Great job Cybra!!!

Thanks ms_j. PMS, ewwwww, I remember those days, so glad I don't have them anymore...I had a partial hysterectomy a couple years go so no more periods for me. Now, who do you think is happier me or my hubby? http://www.longhaircareforum.com/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif Anyway, have your cheetos and I hope they help. One catch, once you get past it you have to promise to get back on track http://www.longhaircareforum.com/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif I know you will sweetie.
I guess the cold bug is going around. I had a slight cold a week ago and then it passed, but, then on Friday or so, I started sneezing again, and now I have a runny nose too. http://www.longhaircareforum.com/forums/images/graemlins/ohwell.gif But, I'm a busy body so it's not stopping me http://www.longhaircareforum.com/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif But, you take care and I hope you feel better soon. http://www.longhaircareforum.com/forums/images/graemlins/kiss.gif

Hi guys,
Sorry I am so late reporting this week, I had an exam today.
Okay so I had a great week for the most part. I lost an inch on my waist and was continuing on with my 3 minutes abs and ellipse. Until Friday. I bought Mcdonalds and lots of snacks to stress munch on during the weekend. Here is the good thing that came out of it: I realized I no longer desire to use food to deal with stress. I got those things out of habit and not out of desire for them. So basically I had half of the Mcdonalds and threw the rest out and maybe 10% of the snacks I bought. Before I probably would have ate everything. So in light of that I have upped my challenge no absolutely no take out next week and to eat salad with every meal.

Go CBG, it's yo birthday! (said while dancing). I think you had an awesome week. So, you did a small set back on Friday, what I say to that is "so what." Remember how agreed at the start of the challege that we could have one "cheat" day per week to eat things we are really craving, then, we'd get right back on track. As long as I have dieted, I have done this and it has NEVER set me back or kept me from my goal...as long as I stick to it the rest of the week.
I still feel you did really well...good for you. Good luck with this week. http://www.longhaircareforum.com/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
