I have heard of it, but I have not used it. There's a thread (with lots of replies) about this skin care line over at Naturally Curly (http://www.naturallycurly.com). HTH.

Hi,
I used this line for a while. I still use their SAGE SPF 25 cream. This is the mattest non reacting product I've found. Love this alot and will always use it.
I also used their Facial Shampoo, Corrective Grains. I have their Biological clay mask too (smells like fresh cut limes).
Now the strangest thing happened when using these products. For the first say 3 months or so my skin got clearer and eventually looked flawless and I EVEN had 2 people compliment my complexion at work saying how I was glowing (that's a first). And I'd had others say this too. But then after a while I'd slowly get a zit. Then another, then another and so on. I don't know what was doing this. My diet wasn't really changing. I stopped using the stuff then went back to it and the zits slooowlly came back. I was at the time just starting my vitamin regime (MSM, biotin, etc etc) so I don't know if it was that making me break out because I still take these vitamins and my skin is fine. Even though I returned to SAGE, my skin started to breakout out again so I quit the lot all together (except the spf 25) and I saw my dermatologist (by then I was getting tonnes of zits). He put me on benzoyl peroxide and my skin just cleared up within a month. I've not gone back to SAGE since.
I know so many though that LOVE SAGE. I still have alot of their stuff. You should call them up. Their customer service is the best. They'll gladly send you samples of things. I've heard their 20% smoothing gel is amazing but I've yet to try that (I have a sample of it). Maybe one day.
Give them a call and ask for samples.

I can relate to brownrelaxedhair because the same thing happened to me! Nice skin for about 3-4 months, then all of a sudden breakouts. I was thinking about putting my remaining products up for swap or something. Like brownrelaxed I still use their Spf 25 though.

Hi carefree,
so the same thing happened to you??!!!! OMG and I thought it was something else causing it! (which it still could've been but the problems vanished since stopping SAGE).
I heard of a girlfriend who had the same thing happen to her too. Its so strange to get great skin FIRST then revert to bad skin. I even chatted with the SAGE founders online but they (not suprisingly) were unconvinced it was SAGE doing this to me but something else.
I have my stuff ready for swapping too /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
I doubt this happens alot though because I know of so many via chat boards who swear by SAGE as being the best thing since sliced bread.

Not to sound like a broken record the same thing happened to me with sage. It bcame less effective with time. I also found their products prohibitively expensive coupled with shipping. With research I found my product lines that had similar products without having to deal with shipping. Eg DDF, Philip Thomas Roth etc

I, like brownrelaxedhair, used a lot of sage but ended up using only the suncscreen. My skin care regime isn't cheap now but it is simple and effective. I use a cleanser my facialist gives me, a night cream, a scrub and that is IT. Well, I also use a light moisturizer and the sage sunscreen

I must say that right this second I am loving the pink gelloid as a moisturizer... it doesn't clog my pores and my skin isn't dry. So, I modify my response: I use the SPF and the Pink Gelloid /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Hey ladies, does the Sage SPF make your skin ashy. I heard that some SPF's make AA skin turn ashen.

No the SPF doesn't colour the skin at all. I know exactly what you are talking about. Sage SPF is fabulous. I am also liking the Pink Gelloid more and more as a moisturizer. It moisturizes but isn't clogging or heavy.

The SAGE spf is the only spf I've found that is a truly transparent/disappears into nothing on the skin matt face cream.
I've stuck with it now since the very first time I got it. Its undetectable.

I also use Sage but I find the SPF to make my sking a bit ashy. I use Therapy Systems Advanced Treatment Facial Sun Protection Creme. It does not say there, but the spf is 30 (at least it BETTER be!! -otherwise they are lying to me).
As far as breakouts, I am convinced that you have to change products after a while. I switch lines, because I feel that over time, products stop working and my skin needs a change!
