I am back on track with my running and I'm training to run another 1/2 Marathon. The only thing is, I absolutely cannot do long runs without music. It's gotta be fast and loud to drown out the sound of my gasping and panting .

I love, love, love old school hip hop for running, but I need to branch out and build up my MP3 repertoire. Any suggestions?

Congrats on the marathon! I normally just use an elliptical machine or treadmill and my mp3 has these songs:

Kayne's Workout Plan--Kayne West
Play--David Banner
Lose My Breath--Destiny's Child
Bootylicious--Destiny's Child
Eye of the Tiger--Survivor
Milkshake--Kelis

These are a few of the songs that get me "Crunk" or that extra energy to run a lil harder..

I love 80s pop. Right now I'm addicted to Michael Jackson's Thriller album. "Wanna be Startin' Something" is awesome for the hills.

Head Sprung by LL is my hype song! That one makes me know I can go another mile (or at least as far as my legs can carry me until the song goes off...).
