View Full Version : Regular Facials on A "Regular" Budget--Why Didn't We Think of This?

I'm working in a new school district and the high school has a cosmetology program. They've just sent out the price list for their first "beauty day." A facial is $5 or $15 for the Dermalogica facial. (I've made my appointment for the Dermalogica facial!)

The only time I've had a facial done, it was $80 plus tip. I've always wanted to go back, but it usually isn't practical for me to spend $80 on something like a facial.

Anyway, I called a local, reputable beauty school just to check their prices and their facials are $12. Depending on how often the high school offers services, I may use the beauty school from time to time.

Why didn't I think of this before???

I would go every other month at those prices... lucky you!

It does sound like a good idea and very, very cost effective. Facials are only beneficial if you get on a regualar basis or consistent.
