Anybody here ever try one of the at home lactic acid peels? What were your results and what percentage did you start at?

I started with lactic acid peel at a 40% solution. I purchased mine from http://makeupartistschoice.com/whichpeel.htm#Lactic. I ordered the sample size 3 months ago and I believe I'm ready for the regular size. This peel is perfect if you've never had a peel before. Unlike the glycolic peels, lactic peels did not irritate my sensitive skin as much, I only had "mild scabbing" for a few days and afterwards my skin was glowing and not sensitive under the sun. Try the sample size first, a little goes a long way.

Great thanks. I think I am going to wait for the winter to start this ...that way I don't have to worry about the sun too much.....

I find it beneficial because I have ezcema and it really helps control it. I definately notice a glow and tighter pores after about 24-48 hours of use. Also I found that it has a "brightening" effect on my skin this is why I slowed down my usage from 2 weeks to once a month. I really don't want to lighten my skin just even out my complexion and tighten my pores.

Here are the benefits listed on makeupartistschoice.com
Loosens and removes the surface debris on the skin.
Softens comedomes.
Deep cleans pores.
Softens fine lines.
Extremely effective at stimulating natural collagen production
for a fresh, moistened look. Great for mature skin. This particular formulation contains licorace extract, an extremely effective botanical skin-lightening additive.
Is a non-irritating acid treatment and great for sensitive skin.
No "down time", no noticeable flaking of the skin, just a sloughing-off of the dried, glued together
sebum and surface skin debris.
