View Full Version : Attention: Maxi Peel users
How's it going??? How long before you see results? when does peeling occur?
Sorry so many questions but I just got it in the mail Sat. started using that night so I am basically hoping this works.....I hate the marks left behind from pimples and I can't stop picking...I've gotten better but I will still pick, squeeze, etc.....:wallbash: Bad girl I know....
Let me know your results, can't wait!!!
Nothing huh...... well when I see something,I'll say something.... I just saw that thread on...... "dark spots" so I wanted to know how it was going with you gals
My first experiences so far where a slight tingle, especially where pimples may have been touched.....My skin is not that bad now its just the few spots I have...I feel like my skin is smoother....can't wait to see these marks gone!!!! and the pimples did shrink a bit as well as the newer marks
I saw a great difference in my skin! Had my stuff glowin after the peeling was done. This is definately a keeper!
I am working on a few spots right now, but overall its kept my acne in check and not made me too light. I really like it:yep:.

I saw some results too. When i applied all over, i didnt notice any peeling but when i applied on the spots only, they were peeling. One side has like no spots while the other has some stubborn ones so im going to get the #3 when i have the money. I used the #2 btw. Im taking a break from it cos i read we are supposed to.
Great! THank you!!! I can't wait....I do feel like my skin feels better to though....my tinted moisturizer and concealor work really well and my face feels fresh!
Will keep yall posted...

That's very cool. Which one are you using? #1, #2 or #3? I think I may get #2 for my face and #3 for my knees and elbows.
Oh, and did you get it through ebay or the website?
Thanks in advance.

hi.
i think I may be doing something wrong...I got my MP off of ebay. I use the #3. I saw peeling within the first week..i was mortified...I had to keep checking the mirror and applying moisturizer to keep the lizard look down. But the worst part is that it peeled in the places I didn't really want lightened.
I think I got scarring from the peel. I purchased a moisturizer with SPF 15 and it almost burns when I put it on...like my skin is raw. Anyway, I see really dry looking, almost shinny areas on my face where the peel started working, but it looks worse than when I started. I am taking a break from it, since I have used it for 2 weeks, plus I am hoping that it looks better soon. I cleansed my face first then applied the MP with a cotton ball all over my face, avoiding the eye and mouth area. Can anyone tell me what is going wrong. I still have dark spots on my cheeks and I swear it looks like there are more spots than when I started. I am afraid I have 'burned' my face and caused more scarring. Any ideas...should I use a L.acid or TCA peel instead...I travel all the time and can't avoid going out, but I really want these spots gone!
thanks ladies

I'm using 2 and I've always been able to tolerate new products etc....maybe you have sensitive skin and should be using a lower percentage....since you have 3 maybe spot treat instead of all over your face.
I use it all over and have gotten mild....I mean very mild peeling....the dark spots have peeled as well and therefore gotten lighter but not drastic....
I would say maybe spot treat and/or use it once a day.
Wish you luck!

1- with any chemical, you should start with a low formulation not the highest
2- if you want only your spots to peel, you have to use a Q-tip
Stop using it and exfoliate then apply aquaphor all over your face every night

Would you let me know where you ordered your #3? I've been looking around for it. Thanks in advance! :)
I'm loving my results...my overall skin has cleared up very well since using.....these stubborn spots are taking there time but my skin is glowing and I have received quite a few compliments .....I look refreshed, radiant is what I am hearing ( this is also due to a decreased level of stress that I am experiencing :yep:)

CCd, what other products are you using? Whats your routine? DO you use a moisturiser and sunscreen?

Well, I use Bliss ( lately) Fabulous Fash wash since May and I like how it feels, keeps my face clear to; very soft exfoliation. Other than that I will use Proactive if I'm having issues with my skin.
I also have their pore-perfecting scrub; use every two weeks or so, if my skin feels rough ...
After that I wil use MP, when I first got it I was using all over but as I felt marks where definitely getting lighter I stopped using every night; used every other and lately I am just putting on spots. My skin has improved and blemishes don't last, like I will feel a clogged pore really tiny but it won't erupt as usual. I get the under the skin type acne.
At night I use Cliniques dramatic ( yellow one) or one by Dinur; ususally this one.
During the day my tinted moisturizer has a sunscreen of 20. If I don't use this I will put sunscreen on ( Used DDF's and Kielh's suncreens for a while) now I just use Neutrogena's Ultra Light Touch (SPF 70) . Both screens work well because my shoulders always get color from wearing tank tops and now that summer has ended my facial skin is lighter than my shoulders and arms.....so make sure you use screens on any exposed areas...neck, shoulders.
ETA: ALSO, I am so happy today; I used my tinted moisturizer mixed with a little MAC Select Tint.... didn't have to use concealor!!!!! YEah!!!
