Ok, I was at this club last night and DJ Jelly from ATL came here to Japan for Labor Day weekend. He brought some strippers with him from ATL, Ms Kai & Ms China, who was in the Tip Drill video. Anyway, i was checking out their bodies to see if I need to tighten my stuff up ya know. Well, how about these chicks have NO STRETCH MARKS!!! Ms Kai had the biggest booty, i mean HUGE!!!! but NO STRETCH MARKS!!! Ms China butt wasn't huge, but she had one, but NO STRETCH MARKS!!!
I am 5'1, 115, with tons of dark stretch marks on my butt. They are alot darker than my skin tone. I use to have self esteem issues about them growing up.I didn't want to wear a swimsuit, didn't want my boyfriend to see me naked, etc. I have since learned to accept them & not care anymore. But still, i just don't get it. You would think with all that booty they have, they would have some, but they don't. Butt as smooth & clear as a baby's bottom.
I'm still researching ways to get rid of mine, but haven't found one yet.

Also, they may have used makeup to cover any stretch marks or discolorations.

Body makeup does wonders to hide skin imperfections/discolorations. Most strippers/performers/pageant contestants almost always use it before they hit the stage.

I never understood that either. I'm about 30lbs overweight (and have been since... well...um, i was never the weight I was supposed to be) and I don't have stretch marks.
I also had F sized breast (before my reduction) and I didn't have stretch marks on them either. I read something about it having to do with hormones and not weight. I'm beginning to believe it.
ETA: Um... I'd take the stretch marks to be 115lbs. :yep:

Its all genetics. Im 5'3 and about 120 and i have no stretch marks or cellulite. I even got my ex to like look all over my body :lachen: cos a lot of women were complaining about them and i didnt know what they looked like.
Im not sure if my mom has them. I dont look at her body for that long!!! And i have gained/lost weight a few times within the past 2 years.

Genetics is right. And how much the skin was stretched.
About getting rid of them--well there's not alot of good news for this currently.
If they are dark in color (deep red or brown) there is a chance they can be improved.
If they are hypopigmented like most of ours (lighter than our skin tone), they can't be helped.:nono:

This is gonna sound so old fashioned but applying the Palmers stretch mark cream+palmers cocoa butter everyday has reduced my stretch marks in size.

The lasers for helping the light ones are comming a long way. I am going to a place here in nc that specialized in "ethnic" skin to see what they can do.
