I recently started using the Sonicare toothbrush. I love it!
My teeth look whiter and brighter after 1 week of use. They are expensive coompared to manual toothbrushes, but I think in the end, it is worth it.

Anyone else use one (or other makes, like Braun, etc.)? If so, do you like it?

I use a Sonicare and I love it. It cost me 110.00 but I think it is worth it.

I do, too. I have for the last 8 years or so. Love the toothbrush, hate buying the toothbrush heads. My teeth aren't as white as they should be, 'cause I smoke, but I would hate to see what they would be w/o Sonicare. Remember to replace heads every 6 months (?)

I have a Braun Vitality toothbrush. I love it. My teeth are whiter and they feel so much more clean than if I used a manual brush. It even has this feature where is pauses once you've brushed for 2 minutes. I don't think I'll be going back to a manual brush anytime soon. The only gripe I have with it are the replacement heads. On the packaging it suggests you change the head every 3 months. Those things get expensive after they begin adding up. But in the end, I think it's worth it.

I have an Oral B, and I love it. I think in the long run it's going to be cheaper because I have to replace manual toothbrushes very often because I brush really hard and the bristles flair out within a few weeks. This one is far more sturdy. It will hopefully also save money on future dentist bills.

I also love the 2 minute timer. I only thought I was getting 2 minutes brushing time in before (because 2 minutes is longer than it seems).

:yep: I smoke occasionally too and drink red wine and coffee. The Sonicare has made a difference just the same. I was thinking of buying some of that toothpast made for smokers and coffee drinkers. Let's try it!

Every 6 months is not bad at all. I was replacing my manual tb every month! (I used the soft heads)

I have been using the Sonicare toothbrush for approx. 1 1/2 years and it is outstanding! I brush longer (using the built-in timing gizmo), and now my teeth are cleaner/whiter. It was referred to me by my Dentist. I bought mine off Ebay for approx. $70 brand new!

I have a Sonicare too and I love it!

I still use a manual brush for my tongue though.

I've used the Sonicare for many years and I love it! When the built-in battery started losing it's charge more quickly (as it will eventually do after a year or more), I called the 800 number and they told me to mail my old unit in and they replaced it with a whole new Sonicare unit free of charge! :)

Isis,
that is great info, thanks. I love my Sonicare and my teeth are much nicer but, it has begun to loose it's charge much sooner than previously.

This is good to hear! Thanks Isis!
I think I am going to brush right now!
