IMO, I dont think its worth it because they recommend that you still have something small to eat along with taking the shakes. The shakes do taste good, though. But if you want to do the shake thing, I would skip the slimfast and just make your own. I just add milk, a little protein powder, and some frozen fruit and voila! It's cheaper this way, too.:yep:

That's great to hear that she lost weight! I tried drinking the shakes, but they seemed to make me gain weight, they have so much sugar in them ! I like the Atkins protein shakes better, I think they only have 4gs of sugar per shake and the Slim Fast has at least 15g from what I remember.

SlimFast does have low carb shakes. I like the atkins too but the slimfast ones are a little cheaper and go on sale sometimes. It might be kinda hard to find them since low carb doesn't seem to be popular anymore. I've seen chocolate and vanilla flavor. To me they taste just as good and have alot of protein.

You could do something similar and use other meal replacement shakes what have less sugar/sugar alcohols or that don't have artificial sweeteners like the Slim-Fast shakes to. I have never done it, but I recently looked into the shakes because they were suggested for the "Poor Man's Cleanse". I looked at the ingredients and decided that there are way better meal replacement options that can be used in the same way.
