I want to know a strength workout that I can do at home when I am in a pinch.

No extra equipment please, and no tapes as I am on a budget right now. I have the following.
1. pushups
2. ab work
3. squats
4. lunges

thats all i can think of. i have a treadmill so i want to incorporate HIIT and circuit training on days when I don't feel like going to the gym

Hi, you can check out workout tapes and dvds at the library. You can also check out books with pictures/direction of home workouts. Just a thought. Good luck.

Fill up some gallon sized water bottles and tape them up....homemade dumbells. Also, depending on how soft your bed or couch is, walk on it in nice control motions for 3 mins...then jump from side to side(feet together) for 2 mins then do the walking again and repeat. Resistance training...like walking and jumping on the beach. If you have kids, do it while they are asleep unless you want them to do it 24/7. Monkey see, monkey do. ;-)

Plyometrics (jump training) is great for both the heart and the legs. Try explosive lunges and squats. No weights necessary. Also for your arms, tricep dips are excellent for working your triceps and only require your body weight. Also you can do pullups/chinups with varying grips in order to work your back muscles. Just head to a local playground and do them on the monkey bars.
