This is the most comprehensive carb counter ever. You don't have to be on atkin's necessarily to use it either. Just thought it would help those who are trying to keep track of their carb intake.

It's also great for calorie counters or fat gram counters....really it's just a great breakdown of what's in food.

I'm all over the place actually. I LOVE carbs, I try to really just count calories, b/c in the end that really matters.

Calories=pounds:rolleyes:

I don't count or eliminate carbs.....but I do make mental note of my calories each day. I eat a little of everything...

Even when I eat bad, I try to weigh my food (best thing ever...who knew how off approximations on packages could be?!) and count all three of those and protein too. I usually do it through sparkpeople.

I'm aiming for a balance, but I'm usually high on the fat side, so I'm trying to get that down.

Thanks for the site

I need to lose at least 60 lbs. I am trying to keep track of calories. I haven't been real diligent either. My coworker has a system and I am trying to incorporate it.

No not really. I eat everything, but what I have done is reduce portions. I lost 3lbs so far :).

Instead of 3 slices of bread w/butter I now have one. Instead of 2 scoops of ice cream, I have one. Shoot, I guess that's counting then:grin:.

There's even a link in my profile now. And here I was dreaming of ackee & saltfish with a couple of fingers of green banana when I read yours. Yum :lick:

I'm doing a slightly modified Atkins - not as low carb because then I'll end up attacking the nearest bakery. But without starches, added sugar, and processed foods, my level of carbs has dropped off a great deal.

Are ladies with nice pictures or cute avatars only allowed to post here? j/k. :). Like others, I watch my calories, but don't watch carbs. About 3 years ago, I used some random online calorie calculator to find out how much calories I should be eating a day to maintain my weight. I pretty much stick to this number, and have be able to maintain my weight this way with little exercise.
