I need to set 6 minie meals for a day, but I need to keep the day under 1500 calories. I have no idea how to do it.
:thankyou:

Don't have an exact calorie count but when I'm seriously working out, I consume about 1200 calories a day. A meal plan is similar to this:

9AM-Meal 1 (Breakfast): 2 pieces of turkey bacon and 1/2 cup of egg whites

11AM-Meal 2: Protein Shake with frozen strawberries, 1/ banana, and/or frozen pineapples, Splenda to sweeten (be careful with what you add because it can raise your calorie count.

1PM-Meal 3 (Lunch): Chicken Breast over salad (watch that dressing)

3PM-Meal 4: Cottage cheese and an apple

6PM-Meal 5 (Dinner): Baked Fish, 1 Sweet potato (size of your palm), and spinach

8PM-Meal 6: Protein shake or protein bar or 2 slices of deli turkey and an orange

Basically you want to keep each of your meals within a 200-250 calorie count. Depending on how many calories you want to consume that day just divide the number by 6 and it will give you your calorie allowance for each meal. If you eat a lil' too much for lunch then you know you need to cut back on our calories for meal 5 and/or 6. I always have trouble eating the 6th meal. If you eat like this on schedule, you will not be hungry. Your body will start telling you when it's time to eat again.

Eat lean meats, the size of your palm or a deck of cards. Try to stay away from white carbs. Replace them with whole grain foods instead or fruit. If you're hungry after any meal (which you shouldn't be) add veggies. Stay away from butter, sour cream, and dressings. Use salsa, olive oil, lemon juice, and vinger to add flavor instead HTH, Chica!

ETA: Make sure your proteins and carbs are balanced. A chicken breast is about 25 grams of protein so make sure your carbohydrate is less than or equal to that. You want a balance. You can find calorie, carbohydrate, and protein counts of various foods by googling.

Mocha5 that sounds really good(minus the cottage cheese:grin:)

LaFlaca-You may want to check out this book, The Six Hour Diet. The whole premise is to eat 6 meals a day spaced 3 hours apart. They give page after page of foods to choose from, including what types to combine, similiar to what was posted.
