It feels like I get sick at every turn, and I hate it. I'm constantly laid up with some could or the nsniffles or something.

What can I do to mkae my immune syster healthier/stronger? I'm exercising and trying to eat better, but I want to do more.

Thanks. :ohwell:

Mushrooms can help build a stronger immune system. Make sure your digestive tract it also in order. Eat healthy bacteria in yogurt and get lots of fiber. Avoid steroids like cortisone too.

The exercise will help too. Be sure to do some strength training to build muscle. A lack of sleep can also ruin a immune system so when you start to feel sick, try getting an extra hour here and there.

Agree with Gymfreak, Exercise, acidophilus, possibly a detox (you'll probably feel worse before you feel better), lycopene (in tomatoes) and various antioxidants (found in berries, fruits and vegetables)

Also start ingesting coconut oil (one to three tablespoons). Switch to cooking with palm oil. Up your water intake to a gallon a day. And finetune your coping skills (pray, lean on people more, etc.). Stress can kill people.

Good luck!

Elevated levels of stress will weaken your immune system... Maybe some relaxation is in order...:yep:

I've been taking Moducare capsules. They are plant sterol supplements that were recommened to me by a physiscian. I purchase them at the Vitamin Shoppe and I don't get colds anymore. I work in a school, which is a petrie dish, ans I needed something to boost my immune system.

This one is obvious, but make sure that you constantly wash your hands!
Touching your eyes or ears is one easy way to catch other folks' colds. Make sure you wash your hands frequently. Also, it's good to keep Purell wipes or some other brand of wipes in your car for those times when you can't get to a sink.
