I am beginning the fruit flush tomorrow. I have been eating like crap lately, I'm in desperate need of getting my eating habits in check. Does anyone here want to join me, it's only for 3 days. I do this every time I fall off track with my eating. You can lose up to 9lbs in 3 days. Sorry for the short notice. I should have posted this a few days ago. I'll post details of the diet if anyone wants to join.

I would like to join you. What are the details. I am already on a raw food type thing for two weeks because of my horrible eating decline while on vacation.:)

I love Jay Robb's stuff! His protein powder is the best out there...very clean and no bad sugar substitutes.
I have his Fruit Flush book, but I'm not sure I'll be able to do next week. I'll check in with you though.

Thank you Miss*Tress for posting the link.
For those interested go to the link and read Pages 25-30. The diet details are included on those 5 pages. I would suggest that you read beyond page 30 for people with any questions about the diet, especially those of you who have medical conditions.
A modified version of this diet is to skip the Protein shake the first day and follow Day 2 as day 1-3. (if you know what I mean) I personally can't do a liquid diet for more than a few hours:lol: so instead of drinking Jay's protein shake for the whole day, on Day one you would start off the diet with the guidelines of day TWO and Three. That means fruits from day 1-3, salad as the last meal and one protein shake. My friend did it this way and reaped the same benefits.
If this is late notice for anyone, I plan on doing this for 4 weeks, Every monday-wed until july 16. So if anyone wants to join me we have alot of time.:)
This forum could be our journal. I will post my regime everyday for one month. Good luck everyone. :D

Hey. I just saw this post but I want to join :D . I want to clean out my system as well as lose some weight. I will start on Tues - Thurs. I will by the products tomorrow.
So we can eat ANY fruit, correct?
Also, can you recommend a protein powder that I can buy at Vitamin Shoppe or local store?
Thanks! :)

I found a protein powder that is pretty close to the guidelines on the fruit Flush. It's called Gold standard 100% whey protein. I brought it at Rite Aid for less than $20 for 2.07lbs. It tastes good but it caused me to break out at the time. I think it's because I am lactose intolerant. :perplexed
Any fruit is ok as long as you are consuming only one serving every two hours.

I think I'll be doing the modified version. I don't think I could stand to do that powder thingy for a full day.
I'm in. I'm starting tomorrow!

 Shoo, if you're going to modify your diet like that. I may have to make some changes.
Right now, I'm struggling through my two apples. Can't wait to have my watermelon and cherries though.

I just started today, I was able to get Jay Robb's protein shake localy and its not bad at all. So far 2 shakes down 3 to go and I feel good but its still early. I hope to loose weight but more importantly I hope the detox will break some of my bad eating habits and food addictions. I also snuck in 45 minutes of biking.

Is the benefit of this detoxing, weight lose, or both? I would like to use this as a starter on eating better and detoxing, but not weight lose.

It can be used for both. I don't really need to lose weight either but I would like a starter to eating better. I would suggest you modify it by eating more fruits throughout the day if you don't want to lose weight but just detox.
