Ladies-
It has been a week since I started taking Alli and it launched on June 14, 2007. I have about 100-120 pounds to lose. My doctor actually recommended Alli.
The side effects were manageable. The first pill I took seemed to make me feel a strong urge to go to the bathroom. After the first pill, things seemed to go back to normal in regards to the urge to go to the bathroom. I did have one day when I didn't go at all and I was a little concerned about it because I am very regular (at least 2 times a day).
I intentionally ate whatever I wanted and only exercised 15 minutes a day. I have lost 4.5 pounds without effort. Now I know it's not a magic pill. I am going to change my eating habits on June 27,2007. This week I am going to eat what I want and exercise for 30 minutes to and hour and see what my results will be.
I think Alli is going to be instrumental in me losing the weight (along with diet and exercise) I have so desperately been trying to lose.
I was watching public access tv with a Dr. of Pharmacy. She said that Alli will aid with lower cholesterol and higher HDL since the fat is being flushed out of the system. Thought that was interesting.
Anyone else have any 1 week results to report?
