I just recently heard that Grapefruit can damage the enamal on your teeth and produce to much acid in your stomach. I have had a whole grapefuit daily for breakfast now for the last past 5 or 6 months.

If it is not a good idea, can I get the same nutritional benefits in a supplement, plus i am tired of eating them daily but do so because I heard they are good for hair growth.

not good if you are on meds...the acid contents interfere with the absorption of medicine. why dont you try to find fruits with the same nutritonal benefits and switch it up? all it is vit C

Yes, this is the only problem I see. I believe it causes an over-absorption. (since vitamin C is known for increasing absorption)

I think I will, because my stomach is starting to feel soar at nights. I am thinking about just taking Vitamin c capsules.

I also heard this, I think grapefruit counts as well because of all of the acid. Which is another concern for me because I lke to keep up my teeth health.
