Hi Everyone,
I just had a baby and am interested in getting in shape. I have the FIRM and Tae-Bo tapes but want something more upbeat and interesting. I have read great reviews on both the Turbo Jam and Shaun T's hip-hop series. Which one do you all recommend?
Thanks in advance,
Andreaetta

I am a TJ fan. Haven't tried Hip Hop Abs (Does it work anything else besides the abs???), but while I've thought about it, I haven't rushed to buy it coz Chalene keeps my body well exercised. BTW, of all the programs I've ever tried, TJ is the only one so far that has left me dripping with sweat. The others do make me sweat but not to the point that I have "water" running down my face and body.
I have both Taebo and the Firm. Didn't care for Taebo. Seemed to give me a masculine shape. Chalene's Turbo Jam is like the feminine version of Taebo and I feel my abs getting a better workout with it than I did with Taebo.

I've got all the workouts that you mentioned also. I rate Turbo Jam #1, Hip Hop Abs #2, Tae bo(Get ripped series) #3. I enjoy doing turbo jam and hip hop abs. To me Billy Blanks seems to make up moves as he goes along.

Wow, everyone's tastes are very different! I personally found ALL of these recommended DVD's irritating beyond belief! It's all good, that's why there's so many different styles.
I'd probably like them more if I could dance. :ohwell: :look: :lachen:

I have both of the mentioned and I will have to go with the other posters.
Turbo Jam is the BOMB. You work off many calories and get a very good sweat!!
Also, it is the ONLY workout that I am not counting the minutes, most of the time the time goes by really fast!!!!!
Get Turbo Jam, it is worth it!!

Cosigning. The only workout I think may be more effective is The Firm, but those DVDs are soooo boring compared to TJ. TJ gets you in shape and is fun at the same time. And there are so many different workouts that you don't get bored and can always squeeze one in even if you only have 20 mins. I've had success with TJ and highly recommend them.

I luve that capoeria stuff!!! PKJ is also my favorte but I really enjoy Cardio Party as well.
I am all about music when I work out. That is why I could never stick with other tapes with good moves but sucky music. Billy Blanks gets on my nerves b/c he is obviously counting steps and gets off beat sometimes. Charlene is great, TJ has really good tunes and it is a really good work out as well.
I can't wait for her to release additional tapes!

I want to try Turbo Jam but I've been reading a bunch of horror stories about Beachbody's customer service. Being overcharged, not getting the product that was ordered. Has anyone had any problems ordering directly from BB's website?

I've never had problems. But if you don't trust them, you can order them from Amazon or Ebay.
