If so, did you attend a seminar or did you purchase a cd?? If you purchased a cd, what did you purchase?? I just can't seem to make myself eat better or workout, so I've been thinking about hypnosis. Give me your feedback.

Disclaimer:
Ladies, please don't take this the wrong way. But please only reply if you have tried this or know someone that has. I'm trying to obtain information so I can make an informed decision. So, if you have information to give, I welcome you!! Please don't post to say that you wouldn't try hypnosis. :look:

Seriously, don't take that the wrong way. I'm not trying to offend anyone. :D

Don't purchase a CD. Most of the ones I've heard are terrible. You can get your own script, make your own tape and put yourself under trance to your own voice. It's free (if you have a tape and recorder). If you don't feel comfortable, you can always go to a licensed professional who can customize the sessions for your needs.

Yes, I tried hypnosis. I attended a class a community college. A friend attended a similar class years before to stop smoking by the same instructor and she stopped smoking that day and never looked back.

The weightloss affect only lasted about a week. You're supposed to continue the exercises but, of course, I didn't. My friend didn't continue hers for smoking so I thought I could get away with it, too.

I'd love to talk to you about it after you try it. ;)

I have a CD that I was supposed to listen to about 4 times per day. It works if you are consistent.:)

The CD is from Steven Gurgevich. I also practice my own self hypnosis thanks to the tips shared by ClassyND. I use this technique for relaxation and going to sleep at night. It works really well!

I think the CD was helpful because it helped me to know how I should feel and what vocabulary should be used during the process.

I used the SMART technique by Provida life sciences. I lost about 20 lbs without doing a whole lot. You really have to stick with the daily schedule based on your profile. The first time I tried it I wasn't consistent. The second go around, I put it all on my ipod and it was a breeze.
